Job Description

Certasun is seeking professionals with construction, roofing, or electrical experience to join solar installation teams.  This is an exciting opportunity to get in at the ground floor of a new business and a rapidly growing solar market in Illinois.  Certasun installs solar on residential rooftops throughout the Chicago area.

Responsibilities

• Safely install the world’s best rooftop solar systems on customer homes across the Chicago metro area.
• Collaborate with teammates to make each installation run smoothly: ensuring tools and materials are ready, problem solving on site as necessary, and clearly communicating with customers and co-workers.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of construction experience, preferably including roofing
• Quality-conscious, taking pride in the work you do
• Used to working in a team environment / Good communication skills
• Willing to work hard in outdoor construction year-round
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to pass drug test and criminal background check
• Authorized to work in the United States
